These photos are from the 1980s, but Hiroi and his apprentice sell their tops in Sendai at Akiu Craft Village, and annually in January usually have an exhibition in Tokyo where you can buy their goods. I would suggest trying to find that information online to see when it’s happening if you’re closer to Tokyo.
