For the past seven years Carving Community: The Landis-Hiroi Collection has been an ongoing collaborative project supported by dedicated volunteers an ocean and continent apart. It has been a privilege and honor during that time for us to be a part of Janell Landis and Hiroi Michiaki’s stories as well as share them with you. Now that we have completed our planned translations, interview segments, and media posts, this website will no longer be updated. However, we may continue to post or repost relevant material to our social media on Twitter and Facebook. Thank you for reading and we hope you enjoy this archive!
